Mur(u)ga cooked Murgi ( मुर्गा पकाया मुर्गी )
On the grill
How did it go?
Bought 4 chicken thighs and legs with skin, marinated the thighs in black pepper, full fat yoghurt and salt and legs in chilli and turmeric powder, full fat yoghurt and salt for 4 hours.
Fired up the grill to 350 degree F, grill them all for 40 turning once after 20 minutes. Made sure the internal temperature reached around 125-150 degree F and the murgi cooked all the way to the bones.
Served with yellow bell pepper, radish, cucumber salad.
Did we enjoy it?
Yes every bit of it, except Bheem (our puppy) was upset that I didn’t give him even the bones.
